provides information about accessibility to buildings, outdoor activities, etc for people with disabilities.

Samaritans

offers information on welfare and social security benefit entitlements in order to achieve higher levels of benefit take up, and also undertakes advocacy and representation to challenge decisions about welfare rights.

offers information and advice about health and related services in our area to local people. They also advise and support people who wish to make complaints about NHS Services.

provides an integrated, community and acute health care service at hospitals and outreach clinics.

is responsible for monitoring and developing primary care services (GPs, dentists, opticians, pharmacists) and for tackling health inequalities.

Care and Repair Pembrokeshire
offers help with carrying out house repairs and installing disability livings aids for people over the age of 65, and also vulnerable disabled people who do not have any existing support network, i.e. single with no care/family support. There is a special service for those due for discharge from hospital.

Pembrokeshire Community Transport
help people and groups who don’t have access to their own transport and who don’t have or can’t use conventional public transport services.

Red Cross - Transport and Escort Service
offers suitable transport, with escort if required or an escort service on public transport. Wheelchair users can only be accommodated if they can move unaided from chair to vehicle. Based at South Pembrokeshire Hospital, Pembroke Dock.
