SOCIAL CARE & DISABILITY SUPPORT
The British Red Cross
can lend items of medical equipment, such as wheelchairs, bed rests and commodes, to people on a short term basis. A therapeutic care session offers a relaxing 30 minute session consisting of handcare and hand massage, neck and shoulder massage given through clothing by trained volunteers for those who are anxious, tense or ill. Based at the hospitals in Cardigan and Aberystwyth.
